Hunting
Hunting requirements include obtaining a State-issued Hunting License from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the current years hunting season and appropriate stamps, and
a City-issued Permit for a fee. Hunters must sign a liability release and report all harvest information. Purchase of a permit does not guarantee the
harvest of game. Hunting access is allowed only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the hunting season. Permit fee paid by hunter is determined by
hunter residency.
A copy of the hunter's driver's license and current hunting license is required.

The number of permits issued is based upon annual population information. Dove, quail, and hog permits are available on a first-come,
first-served basis per day, while deer and turkey permits are available by a random drawing of names submitted for each hunt.
There will be no refunds for permits that are not subsequently used, and no date substitutions.
No road baiting or battery-powered feeders are allowed. Hunters may use a tree stand/blind but must remove them immediately
after their hunt is concluded.
